I believe a person whom tries to be successful will try to compete against his peers or friends. It is not necessarily bad, but some competition can be unhealthy. Nevertheless, I do try to eliminate competition simply by being creative.

OH! Totally forgot about Niccolo Machiavelli <3! Even though its related to politics! I love his work! Unlike many other “old” books, Machiavelli’s work is the only one I am aware of that be applied onto our current situation! Such amazing talent! Mashallah!

Yoni Goodman, a director of an animation “Waltz with Bashir”, produced an anime on the closure of Gaza with an Israeli human rights group Gisha.

The project features a 90-second anime of a boy chasing a blue bird through Gaza Strip, but is blocked at every turn by a hand which represents Israel.

“The war made this project a mission for me. This character is this kid, he is kind of a kid and kind of an adult, a bit Arab and a bit Jewish, something that everyone can connect to, and it was very important not to turn this into a stereotypical film.” Goodman said.

Well, not literally but it is obvious to me that the toppings they’re using is avaiable in Sultan’s shopping centre!

This is very disappointing, especially when you are expecting so much from a well-known brand that is internationally recognised around the world.

One of Haagen-Dazs’s toppings is a chocolate syrup is already available in Kuwait’s supermarkets; I also saw one of the staff was holding a Haagen-Dazs’s ice cream box which is exactly the one in my fridge!

Then it occured to me whilst waiting for my breakfast that Haagen-Dazs might be a fake (At least I think it is with all the things I’ve noticed)??

Shitty experience. Terrible presentation and management. I will not visit it again.

I spend most of my time trying to figure out ways on how to avoid this irritating service approach.

Most of the blood-sucking corporates in Kuwait, like Starbucks, barely spend any money on improving their service qualities or even keeping it consistent throughout Kuwait.

Not to forget Starbucks’ coffee quality is terrible compared to what it use to be before, and the experience in Starbucks is even worst. (I dislike most franchise-based food anyways).

I understand that Starbucks in Kuwait cannot avoid the coffee quality being shipped from god knows where, but come on spending a little money on improving the service quality would’nt hurt anybody.

Instead of irritating customers with “Hii sayir”, try another simple approach. Smile! It’s that simple.
